Are you aware of yourself?

Self awareness allows you to appreciate your strengths and weaknesses.

What is self awareness for designers and entrepreneurs? Self awareness is developing personality and allowing the true self to expose itself and getting to know one's own potential. Self awareness is freedom from external pressures, including cultural expectations, political and economic freedom. It is the confidence to break free from worldly attachments and desires.

Why is self awareness so important for entrepreneurs? In the course of establishing their venture, entrepreneurs realise what they want to do and what people need of them. Starting as an entrepreneur ignites the process of self-realisation. It is the discovery of one's ability and inner strength.

How do designers and entrepreneurs get awareness of their selves Entrepreneurs find their true selves through introspection and questioning their life's purpose, and by trying to be aware of their own personalities. Self awareness is to be acutely aware of weaknesses and fears. It is often when noticing weaknesses that an entrepreneur chooses to step back and reassess himself.

“The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness.” – Lao Tzu,

When do entrepreneurs begin to accept self-realisation? One example is when an entrepreneur becomes acutely aware of his own laziness, and realises that he will never reach his goal; he has started the series of actions toward self-realisation. Founders of companies are often forced into professional excellence by their customers, and thereby find their calling.

Who ‘self-realises’ through entrepreneurship? Some entrepreneurs already have the confidence of mental freedom from limitations and independence of security. Others use a process of self awareness to gain this freedom. The people who get aware of themselves are the ones that need psychological growth to awaken and realise their potential.

Where do you find self-realised entrepreneurs? Happiness is something that is instinctive, it is not due to external causes. You must realise yourself in order to experience pure happiness. Experiences may trigger the impulse to convert oneself into what one is able to be.

To be aware of what I am going to use my life for is important to me. To be an entrepreneur is the easiest way to follow my life’s purpose.

Have you started to realise your potential?
