It seems to be a pattern that successful traditional entrepreneurs change into philanthropists. Value-driven entrepreneurs prove that you may create a profit and create value for society at the same time. There is no contradiction between finding an opportunity to create money for stakeholders and making an opportunity to do something right. Who are the value-driven entrepreneurs? Small business entrepreneurs are in the forefront of what is becoming a responsibility revolution. The most successful entrepreneurs are those who are agile but stay focused on their founding values. Where are the most value-driven businesses? The most respected businesses and personalities are also the ones with the strongest and most authentic values. If you want to grow, you can’t do it without strong values to get you there. People want to make money, but they also want to make a difference. Creating a culture of values is how to do both. Living in India, I became aware of a culture that made me recognise more important values than just following my talent and offering it to the world.
